Always on the lookout for obscure, classic thrash metal releases, I happened upon a copy of "Coming Again" from a generous trader from Europe. Bloody Cross are a German thrash band from the golden years of thrash. On this, their one and only release, they play a loose style of thrash with punk delivery to both the music and the vocals. They remind me a bit of bands like Martyr, Torn Flesh, early Razor and fellow German metalheads Living Death. As might be expected from a low budget, independent release, the recording quality is rough. However, most thrash fans aren't overly concerned with stellar production. The raw recording only adds to the punk-like, independent quality of the music.
