Cyco Miko is a side project of Mike Muir of Suicidal Tendencies fame. Despite the fact that Suicidal went the way of heavy metal and thrash, Mike has always been a fan of punk. Cyco Miko is a punk project. Unfortunately in the 90's punk became a fad and some bands even started to label themselves 'pop-punk'! This is an oxymoron. Punk is suppose to be diametrically opposed to pop. Cyco Miko does not follow this insipid trend but rather is pure punk rock. There are some hardcore tendencies, but don't think this sounds like Suicidal, unless of course your idea of Suicidal is their 1983 debut. Imagine Muir singing for the Ramones and you might have an idea of the sound.
