I loaded this disc into my five cd player while I was at work. I think this disc must have been around the fourth disc to play that day. The disc just before it was playing but it was more or less just background noise while I was working. However, when this disc came on, my attention shifted to the sounds emanating from the speakers. I was amazed at how good this CD sounded to me and at the same time I thought to myself that this band really sounds a lot like New Eden. I went to grab the cover insert to check and see if there were any band members who were former members of New Eden, but there are none that I am aware of. Onward, however share that same galloping, dark, power metal sound that bands like New Eden, Steel Prophet, and Destiny's End have. guitar rhythms with an almost gothic feel, flashy guitar solos and an overall 80's heavy power metal sound that may not be overly original or trendy, however, I love it.
