A surprise gift from a good friend in Germany, this CD is by a local band from his area. Ulan Bator play semi-progressive power metal. The CD is completely independent being released by the band, but is surprisingly well produced. From the crunchy guitar tones to the high, clean vocals, everything is in place. The songwriting itself is above average, and frankly I find it hard to believe that this band has not been picked up by a label like Massacre or Nuclear Blast yet.
