Melodic metal side band from Narnia lead vocalist Christian Liljegren. The music is similar to Narnia but is much less neo-classically influenced and a bit more straight forward heavy metal. Rather than being influenced by Yngwie, Wisdom's Call seem to be more influenced by the metal bands of the 1970's like Deep Purple. This is especially true of the last two songs which were actually recorded with another band that Christian use to be in called Modest Attraction. This debut cd was released independantly by the band and is surprisingly well recorded, sounding as good as any Narnia album. This disc was a surprise gift from a friend. Sometimes surprises are good, sometimes they are bad. This surprise was very good.'Wings Of Tomorrow' is a Europe cover.

I read a review in a magazine that use to be cool, but is now a trend soaked peice of trash called Kerrang. They slammed this disc because "it's melodic rock" and basically because it's not trendy trash. If any of the guys from Wisdom Call ever read this, keep it up, your fans appreciate the fact that you are not trying to follow the trends.
